About Bol

The quarterly magazine 'Bol,' which was published in print from 2004 to 2011 by the Bhasha Research and Publication Center for tribal children, is now being relaunched online. We are pleased to announce that the first issue of this revived magazine is now available on our website (Link: www.bhasharesearch.org/).

We invite all readers of 'Bol' to contribute their articles, stories, poems, or any other writings or ideas related to the themes included in the magazine. If you have any such content or are interested in writing for 'Bol,' please send your submissions to the address below.

'Bol' magazine is designed to reflect the education, cultural heritage, and social development of tribal children. Through the articles and stories in this quarterly magazine, we are making a committed effort to promote child development and strengthen society through language.

In 2004, Bhasha launched Bol, a magazine for adivasi children, Bol seeks to bring joy and learning to childrenacross Gujarat. The only magaznine for adivasi children, Bol reaches out to 11,000 schools in eleven adivasi districts of the state. The magaxine is sbscribed by the District Primary Education Department Govt. of Gujarat for its schools and is found extremely useful by teachers.

The magazine includes oral stories songs, folk epics, mythical and historical events ecology, puzzles, scientific inventions and languages learning. The magazine is run entierly by a group of young adivasi that includes documentsors, editors, designers and artists. Material for the magazine is sourced from writer, teachers and childrens of various communities.
